  1. Interesting build, good quality kit. Congratulations Geetech on an excellently presented kit and good instructions with accompanying videos. I found the build process a pleasure and over 5 days took 4.8 hours. I have a technical background but don’t see why anyone with ambition and DIY skills could successfully build this. No soldering is needed but you really need to concentrate on the instructions AND use the excellent videos as well. I recommend reading each stage fully and only build that stage once assembly is fully clear. As…

  2. A superb 3D printer for the money – highly recommended I have owned this printer now for a couple of weeks and have used it extensively so feel I am in a position to review it comprehensively. In terms of what you get, it is a total acrylic kit which takes 6 hours or so to assemble. If you ever built Meccano has a child, you will be totally at home with the build. There are a series of videos on Youtube that will take you through it stage by stage.Once set up, I immediately made some modifications – I put a mosfet extension board on it…

  3. I did some checking on google before purchasing and found that it didn’t get a bad review anywhere For the price I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, I did some checking on google before purchasing and found that it didn’t get a bad review anywhere. The low price would appear to come from having to assemble it yourself. Don’t be put off by this though, it makes for a fantastic learning opportunity and if you have any budding engineers a great chance for them to learn also. Mine took 3 nights to assemble. However, I cut and re-soldered all of my cables to size, more for form than function,…
